Raindance AI Video With the Song: Reference Audio or TikTok Sound?
Most Raindance AI tools export a silent video. Here the MP4 keeps the reference clip’s audio. When to post it as is, and how to switch to the official Raindance sound on TikTok.
Why many Raindance AI videos are silent
Video models such as Seedance make the picture. Asked for sound, they invent their own: humming, crowd noise, made-up singing. So most Raindance AI tools switch the model's sound off and hand you a silent MP4, and you add the song when you post.
This generator also asks the model for a silent video, then puts the reference clip's own audio under it. The same thing happens on every model and every length:
- The model makes the 4:3 video without sound.
- The renderer cuts each part to its exact length, so a 30-second video made in two 15-second parts joins without a jump.
- The audio of the matching reference clip (5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds) is laid in, so the timing matches the moves.
Reference audio or the official sound?
| Post the MP4 as it is | Swap in the TikTok sound | |
|---|---|---|
| Effort | None: upload and post | A few taps in the TikTok editor |
| Timing | Already matched to the moves | You line up the start yourself |
| Trend page | Shows as your video’s own sound | Listed under the official Raindance sound |
| Other apps | Works anywhere (Reels, Shorts, messages) | Only inside TikTok |
How to switch to the official sound on TikTok
- Upload the MP4 and open the editor.
- Tap Volume and turn Original sound down to zero.
- Tap Add sound, search for "Raindance Dave Tems" and pick the trending sound.
- Drag the sound so the singing starts when person 2 starts singing, then post.
TikTok's sound library and the reference clip's audio aren't guaranteed to be the same cut, so check the sync once before you post.
Which length has the most of the song?
The reference scene runs about 29 seconds. A 30-second video covers all of it (the last second holds the final frame, and the audio ends with the scene). 5, 10 and 15 seconds take the first part of the scene and the matching first seconds of audio. Prices for every length are in the cost table.
