Privacy Policy

Introduction

This policy explains what Opus 5.5 Video collects when you use the site, what happens to the prompts you write and the videos made from them, and the choices you have. Opus 5.5 Video is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Anthropic.

Information We Collect

1. Account information — your name, email address and sign-in method (email, or a Google or GitHub account where that option is offered).
2. Prompts and generated work — the text you type into the generator, the length, format and sound settings, the work log Claude Opus 5.5 produces while it builds the video, and the finished MP4.
3. Pages you link in a prompt — if a prompt contains a link to a public web page, we read that page (up to two pages per prompt) to pick up names and wording for the video.
4. Payment records — the plan or credit pack you bought, the amount, and the order reference. Card details go directly to the payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
5. Credit history — credits granted, charged, returned and refunded, so your balance can be explained.
6. Technical data — the IP address of your sessions and the country detected at sign-up (used to prevent abuse of free credits), browser type, and the pages you open.
7. Cookies — a session cookie to keep you signed in, a language preference, and the source that referred you to the site. Analytics, where enabled, may set its own cookies.
8. Messages to support — the tickets and emails you send us.

How Prompts and Videos Are Processed

• Your prompt is sent to Claude Opus 5.5, a model made by Anthropic, through the Claude API (directly or through an API provider that forwards requests to it), so it can plan and write the animation.
• The work runs in an isolated sandbox. It can read public web pages and download public files (for example a product page linked in your prompt) to use as reference; it cannot sign in, upload or post anywhere. Each video gets its own sandbox.
• The animation is rendered to video on our servers.
• The prompt, the work log and the finished video are stored in your account on cloud storage. They are private to your account and are not listed publicly. Administrators of the service can access them to operate it and to handle support requests.

How Anthropic handles data sent through its API is described in Anthropic's own terms.

How We Use Your Information

• To make the videos you request and keep them available in your account.
• To charge, return and refund credits, and to process payments.
• To send account and service emails: email verification, password reset, a notice when a video is ready, and a notice when credits run low.
• To send occasional product emails, which you can stop at any time with the unsubscribe link in each one.
• To answer support requests.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse of free credits and misuse of the generator.

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with providers that run parts of the service for us:

• AI model — Anthropic, or an API provider that forwards to the Claude API, receives prompts and the content of pages linked in them.
• Hosting, sandbox and storage — our cloud infrastructure provider runs the site, the sandbox and the storage that holds your videos.
• Payments — the payment provider shown at checkout receives your billing details.
• Email — our email delivery provider receives your email address and the content of messages we send you.
• Analytics — where enabled, an analytics provider receives page-view data.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.

Retention and Deletion

Prompts, work logs and videos stay in your account until you ask us to delete them or the account. Payment and credit records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. To delete your account and the content in it, write to support@opusvideogen.com from the account's email address.

Security

Connections to the site are encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and each video is built in its own isolated sandbox. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your Rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and you can object to marketing emails at any time. Write to support@opusvideogen.com; we answer requests from the account's email address.

Changes to This Policy

When this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you through the service or by email.
