What This Site Is

Opus 5.5 Video is an online tool for making Opus 5.5 videos: short motion-graphics videos whose every frame is drawn by code that Claude Opus 5.5 wrote. You describe a video in a text box and download a 1080p MP4. There is nothing to install.

The site is an independent product. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Anthropic. It uses Claude Opus 5.5 through the Claude API, and Claude and Opus are trademarks of Anthropic.

How the Generator Works

1. You write a brief: what the video is for, the exact words on screen, the scenes in order and the colors.
2. Claude Opus 5.5 runs as a coding agent in an isolated sandbox. It storyboards the video, writes an HTML animation and checks its own preview frames, and its work streams to the page while you watch.
3. A headless browser draws every frame at 30 frames per second and FFmpeg encodes them into an MP4, with a synthesized soundtrack if you asked for one.

Because the video is drawn from code, text, numbers and brand colors appear exactly as written. For the same reason it does not produce photorealistic footage, real people or camera moves; a video model is the right tool for those.

How We Keep the Facts Straight

The credit limits and prices quoted in the FAQ, on the pricing page and in llms.txt are read from the same settings the generator and the checkout use, so they cannot drift apart. The example videos on the homepage are drawn live in your browser from code and are labeled as such.
