Product launch video maker: from a written brief to an MP4

Write the product name, one benefit, the words that should appear on screen and your call to action. Claude Opus 5.5 storyboards and codes a short launch animation, and the site renders it as a 1080p MP4 of 15, 30 or 60 seconds. You don't need editing software, a timeline or a screen recording.

Acme Notes is a fictional app. Claude Opus 5.5 wrote this animation from the brief below, and the generator's own renderer turned it into the MP4. It was made for this site in a Claude Code session, not by a customer.

Brief: A launch video for Acme Notes, a note-taking app that tags and organizes notes automatically. Dark background with warm orange accents. Open on the product name and the line "Notes that organize themselves". Then show the app window: three notes type themselves in and each gets a tag. Search for "launch", show "Auto-tagged. Instantly searchable." and end on a button that says "Try Acme Notes free".

When a launch video from a brief fits

Use it when you need a short animated announcement rather than a filmed ad or a product demo. The video announces something and asks for one action; explaining how a process works is a different kind of video.

Launch teaser

Build interest before release: the product name, one promise, and a date or a waitlist.

New feature announcement

Tell people what changed: a "New" label, the feature in a simplified interface scene, and where to try it.

Launch day call to action

Send people to one action on the day: try it, sign up, upvote or read the announcement.

What you get

An MP4 with animated type, shapes and an illustrated version of your interface, with synthesized music or silence. 16:9 suits a landing page, YouTube or a slide; 9:16 suits Reels, Shorts and TikTok; 1:1 suits LinkedIn and X feeds.

Edit a launch brief

Pick a template, fill in your details and read the brief before you take it to the generator. You can still change every word there, and nothing is generated until you press Generate.

Sample prompts: these three briefs have not been rendered yet, so this page has no video for them. Each is set to 15 seconds, 16:9 and music.

Brief that goes to the generator

A 15-second launch teaser for Pathline, which turns your backlog into a weekly plan. Use a deep navy background with mint accents. 0–4 s: the screen starts dark, then the name "Pathline" reveals letter by letter with a soft glow. 4–11 s: one simple illustrated scene of what Pathline does, built from shapes and short labels (no real screenshots), while the line "Your week, planned in one click" types in. 11–15 s: end on a card that says "Join the waitlist" and hold it for about two seconds. Clean sans-serif type, smooth easing, music that builds to the end card.

A 15-second launch storyboard

Most short launch videos follow three beats. Writing the timings into the brief, as the templates above do, gives Claude Opus 5.5 a plan it can check against its preview frames.

  1. 0–4 s

    Introduce

Show the product name and a one-line promise. One idea in large type, with nothing else competing for attention.

  2. 4–11 s

    Show the value

One scene that shows the benefit, such as notes tagging themselves or a plan filling a calendar. Keep labels to a few words so they can be read at a glance.

  3. 11–15 s

    Ask for action

End on the call to action as a button, a URL or a date, and hold the last frame for about two seconds so it can be read.

15, 30 or 60 seconds: how to choose

Length is set in the generator's controls; writing "two minutes" in the brief does not change it. Each length has its own credit limit, because Opus 5.5 can work longer on a longer video.

15 seconds

A teaser or social post: one benefit and one call to action.

At most 200 credits

30 seconds

A feature announcement with two or three points, or a before-and-after.

At most 300 credits

60 seconds

A launch overview that walks through three or four features. Write a scene list with timings so the pace stays even.

At most 500 credits

Animated launch video or real screen recording?

This tool draws everything in code: type, shapes, charts and a simplified, illustrated app window. It does not accept screenshot or video uploads and cannot capture your product, so the interface in the video is a stylized stand-in, not your actual UI.

If the brief links a public product page, Opus 5.5 can read it for names, wording and public images to use. Record your screen instead when buyers need to see the exact interface, a full walkthrough or real data. The two also combine: use the generated MP4 as the opening or closing of a screen recording you edit elsewhere.

What a launch video costs

You pay in credits for what Opus 5.5 actually uses. A 15-second video starts at 50 credits, never costs more than 200 and typically ends around 40. Credits charged ahead and not used come back, and a failed video is refunded in full. Videos from accounts without a purchase carry a moving watermark.

Product launch video FAQ

How can I make a product launch video without editing software?

Open the generator, write a brief with the product name, one benefit, the on-screen words and the call to action, then pick the length, format and sound and press Generate. Claude Opus 5.5 writes the animation as code and the site renders it to an MP4 you can download. There is no timeline to edit; to change the video, edit the brief and generate a new one.

Can I turn a product brief into a short SaaS launch video?

Yes. Paste the parts of your brief that belong on screen: the product name, the problem it solves, one or two benefits and where to sign up. Keep it to what fits the length you choose; 15 seconds has room for one benefit and one call to action. The result is a motion graphics video with an illustrated interface, not a recording of your app.

Can it use my logo or product screenshots?

You cannot upload files. If your logo or screenshots are on a public web page, link that page in the brief and Opus 5.5 can save public images from it for the animation. Otherwise, describe the logo and brand colors in words.

Can a launch video have a voiceover?

Only when the site has voiceover switched on. Then the Sound control offers Voiceover next to Music and Silent, and you write the exact words in the brief. When the option is greyed out, choose music or silent and put the message in on-screen text.

Which format should I pick for each channel?

16:9 (1920×1080) for landing pages, YouTube and presentations; 9:16 (1080×1920) for Reels, Shorts and TikTok; 1:1 (1080×1080) for LinkedIn and X feeds. The format is chosen before generating, so make one video per format.

What if the video gets a word or a number wrong?

Watch the MP4 before you publish it. Text appears as Opus 5.5 wrote it into the code, so quote exact wording in the brief. If something is off, edit the brief and generate again; each run is charged separately, and a failed run is refunded.
